My name is Sydney Shockey - I've been involved in the training and handling of working dogs since 2015. I have been very lucky to have surrounded myself with people who not only wish to help me grow as a person, trainer, and dog enthusiast...but who want to help our program thrive and be all that it can possibly be. I am learning every day and I will never stop being a student. In the meantime, though, I do hope that you join us on our journey of helping our breeds be the best they can be.

My husband, Daryl Shockey, has been in dogs since middle school. He grew up in a breeding Schutzhund kennel, and has always had an admiration for both German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois. After his time in the military, he went to a dog training school, and learned much about himself as a handler, owner, and trainer. His love for the breeds we live with has helped to mold the dogs we produce today.

After meeting and working with dogs from different bloodlines, we really had to narrow down the kind of dog we aim to produce. With that in mind, we strive to offer the types of animals here at Shockeyhaus that have good temperament, balanced drives and are resilient. We do our best to match you with the kind of dog you will work the best with. Be that your first sport dog, an active pet, or a personal protection dog..we feel confident in our ability to place you with the dog that best fits your needs.
